Estimating
We provide a fast and efficient estimating service, we endeavor to turn our estimates around within 5 working days. Our estimates are based on the information you provide. To ensure our estimate is as accurate as possible please provide us with as much information as possible such as;
• Heat Source e.g. Ground source heat pump or gas boiler
• Type of Floor construction e.g solid concrete, block and beam or joisted
• If known let us know the type of floor coverings
• If available please supply a full set of drawings floor plans and cross sections of floor details
Design
Once the order has been placed with KLi for the underfloor heating, we will design the system to ensure it is the most energy efficient system based on the type of heat source you are using. We will produce drawings to be approved by the customer. On approval we then arrange a date for installation.
Installation
Once a date has been agreed, a team of our specialist UFH engineers will attend site and work to the program, which has been agreed. Please note KLI are Bpec approved installers for warm water underfloor heating systems. All works are carried out to a very high standard.
Commissioning
Getting your system commissioned is like having your car tuned and serviced. KLi can commission your system to ensure that you get the most efficient system, using our solar pumps we are able to remove air blockages and we also set up and show you how to use your room thermostats. Each system comes with its own operating and maintenance manual and test certificates.
Don’t forget once it’s installed and covered in concrete it’s there for life so getting the design and the installation done right are the most critical things about installing underfloor heating.
